Fire resistance according to IMO/SOLAS regulations (for fire from hydrocarbons)

SITAL is able to satisfy all fire resistance classes defined by the SOLAS standards, starting from class A0 up to class H120, which guarantees a two-hour fire resistance from hydrocarbons tested at temperatures of 1115 ° C.  SITAL has A60 ownership certificates of walls, roof, base and doors.

When fire protection from hydrocarbons under pressure is required, SITAL products are treated with certified intumescent paint in the required protection class (J30, J60, etc.)

    • A (pool fire – 936 ° C): A0, A30, A60.
    • H (pool fire – 1115 ° C): H0, H60 H120

  • Roof structure, walls and base made with thermal insulation and devices suitable for the fire resistance class to be met

  • Automatic fire detection and extinguishing system realized with components for safe area or ATEX certified

  • Certification of passive fire resistance according to the SOLAS regulation of the modular container / substation as a whole, issued by a third party
